Despite having publicly condemned the Nike Kyrie 8 (and his standing with the brand), Kyrie Irving continues to use his platform to support and spread awareness on some of the issues closest to him. When he isn’t donating homes or helping build community centers, the Brooklyn Nets guard is on another mission, one to #KeepSueFresh. On this end, he’s revisited the mission on his Nike Kyrie Low 4.
For the uninitiated, the person Irving refers to with the three-word hashtag is none other than Sue Bird, one of the most celebrated athletes to participate in the WNBA. A long-time admirer of the point guard, the Australia-born player has been prepping special editions of his signature sneakers for a few years now, and supporting the American-Israeli hooper for much longer than that. The latest proposition, however, features shades of vibrant blue paired with faint pink, green and yellow. The aforementioned hangtag takes over the right shoe’s tongue, while a heat map graphic lands on the collar. Together, the color-palette and details found on the latest Kyrie Low 4 ensure that Bird indeed remains fresh.
Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
Elsewhere under the Nike Basketball umbrella, the LeBron 19 should debut before the 2021-2022 NBA season begins.
