Nike’s pack of “Popcorn” themed releases is not only a celebration of theater concessions. Rather, it offers a new lens with which to view the participating sneakers. First started with the Air Force 1, the collection is now bringing the “Best Hits” attitude to the Blazer Mid ’77 whose new gold text and bold types are ready for the big screen.
Along the back heel, the pair receives some gilded debossing that spells out “Fresh Since 77” in nod to the model’s origin year. Its backing, in contrast, is far more unassuming, bearing the typical tumbled leathers the Blazer Mid often employs. Swooshes, midsoles, heel tabs, and laces then add a touch of vintage flair, hued in “Coconut Milk” to better complement the red woven labels and retro-stylized Nike branding. What’s more, alongside some special packaging, the offering comes equipped with a full gold popcorn-shaped keychain.

In other news, kids Jordan 1 Shadow 2.0s are coming out this May as well.
