Although Kanye West has kept a low-profile on social media since losing the US presidential race, he’s treating fans to the reflective adidas Yeezy Boost 380 “Onyx” soon.

Identical to a non-illuminating pair first teased back in September 2019, the forthcoming proposition from ‘ye’s Three Stripes partnership delivers a stealthy aesthetic that’s simultaneously fitting and a deviation from Yeezy‘s predominantly-muted catalog. Primeknit uppers boast the titular “Onyx” hue, but unlike their counterpart, this version’s digital camo-like patterns on the upper indulge in a reflective coating that shines bright under the right light. The stripe on the lateral profile doesn’t don the same reflective quality, but its tonal makeup draws attention on its own. Underfoot, the Yeezy 350‘s spiritual successor opts into a semi-translucent black midsole accompanied by light brown tread. BOOST cushioning, left in its standard white composition, is visible to varying degrees from all angles of the sole unit.
