Out of the entire adidas Yeezy family, few silhouettes have sustained themselves as long as the Yeezy Boost 350 v2. In 2021, it’s even due to experiment quite a bit, switching up its palettes, constructions, and the like. This recently unveiled “Light” colorway may seem quite ordinary at a cursory glance, but it actually features some color-changing touches made possible by UV.
Though it’s the most pronounced, this treatment is not exclusive to the side stripes. But once light hits this specific fixture, it’ll begin to tint far darker, displaying a bronze, yellow-ish shade across the profile. Both above and below, it’s tool there are very slight changes as well: the knits, which are threaded with white and cream Primeknit, simply remain their neutral cream and white look. Elsewhere, standard, color-less laces fasten adjacent, while the sole adds dark grey outsoles to brighter side walls. Moreover, the heel pull is also removed on these “Mono” renditions.
For a better look, see the images below. A release is expected to arrive this Summer.
In other news, more images of the Air Jordan 4 Tech Grey have surfaced earlier in the week.
